‘VIA ALPINA’ Expedition SUPPORTED BY: SALOMON
A self-supported expedition - a human powered traverse across the entire country of Switzerland via the high passes of the Alps with Salomon & Suunto athlete Alex Borsuk & Matt Hasenohr, alongside photographer Milo Zanecchia. The team ran along the Swiss Via Alpina trail from from the Liechtenstein border to French border - in some extreme conditions clocking an average distance of nearly 60km a day.
The expedition took place in summer 2019 and was supported by outdoor brand Salomon - an industry leader in trail running equipment. The project photography was widely shared across Salomon’s platforms.
